- Virus & Spyware Removal
- Boot PC or Mac and ensure that the operating system can fully load. Determine if antivirus software is installed and up-to-date. Install approved removal applications if necessary. Remove all viruses, trojans and malware. Perform all updates. In the event of damage to the operating system, original operating system disk should be available to for reformat.
- Computer Tune-up
- Speed and performance of computer will be enhanced by removing trial ware, adjusting settings and startup entries, and disk defragmentation and cleanup. Temporary internet files will be deleted and updates will also be performed.
- Computer Set-up
- Will set up computer, monitor and all peripherals. Will connect printers/scanners etc. and organize wires and cables. Will install software and configure computer to work with internet setup. Transfer of data is available for an additional charge.
- Data Recovery
- Includes initial assessment of drive/disk to determine if media can be recovered. 100% Guarantee: no data, no charge.
- Data Backup and Transfer
- Will transfer all desired data from one computer to another computer, external drive, CD/DVD drive, USB device, external media (provided by the customer), or online source (provided by the customer).
- Home Internet Setup
- Setup, configure and secure your router. Configure internet and repair internet and network connectivity if necessary.
- System Reformatting
- System restore on one PC. Restore CDs must be provided or the restore data must be partitioned on the hard drive. Information on PC or Mac will be backed up (if possible) at an additional cost prior to reformat. The Restore CDs must be a legitimate copy and a valid license key must be provided. Additional software CDS (ex. Office) must be provided by the customer.
- Printer Assistance
- Will install and network (if applicable) any printer or scanner. Will ensure device is working properly upon completion. Will also troubleshoot a problem device.
- Software Install
- Will install any software provided by customer and configure after computer compatibility is determined. Will also installed free software as desired. Will create desktop shortcuts and start menu shortcuts as well as quick bar access.
- Hardware Install
- Will install and internal or external element. This includes but is not limited to monitors, graphics cards, hard drives, CD/DVD drives, printers, etc. Customer must be sure the hardware being installed is compatible with device and must provide the hardware. As stance will be provided on determining what type of hardware is necessary for the desired function. Will install any software necessary for the device to be operational. (Note: Laptop system boards are the exception and some hardware install will void any warranty on the device.)
- Wireless Networking
- Set up and configure modems and routers. Enable devices to share files, music, printer, etc. Install wireless printers and scanners.
- Operating System Repair
- Run repair and fix any system errors (if possible).
